Web Developer

Immediately required for IT solution Company Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for the design, development, programming and support of software applications. The individual in this role will create, modify and maintain core Internet, Extranet and Intranet environment structures and pages. They will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, which include application development, configuration, analysis and web development. Project roles require a lead development responsibility for small projects working with business requestors and participation in larger projects with a project manager. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

5. Design, build and implement Micro sites and SharePoint pages with SharePoint Designer 2007 and Visual Studio

6. Evaluate business requirements then design, implement and configure SharePoint web parts per customer needs

7. Create, edit and distribute various web applications as required using development tools Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, jQuery and Java Script

8. Utilize editing tools such as Dreamweaver. (Content management system and Global Content Management System experience for website content translation and localization needs)

9. Write and maintain appropriate documentation to describe program development, logic, utilize coding library and repository tools for revisions

10. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software

11. Assist database administrator in MS SQL Server 2008 as it relates to the applications

12. Consult with project leads to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives

13. Assist in the evaluation of new software applications

Qualifications:

Minimum

3. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related area and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

4. Skills:

a. Strong attention to detail

b. Ability to understand and follow a Creative Brief and client’s verbal requests

c. Ability to translate brand and project objectives in response-oriented designs

d. Experience in SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Server and SharePoint Services administration, configuration and installation of web parts and various 3rd party add-ins

e. Experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting MS SharePoint 2010 sites and portals

f. Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining web-based applications using tools such as Visual Studio, C# and SQL Server

g. Knowledge of various software packages included in Microsoft Office 2010

h. Good written and verbal communication skills

i. Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
