Corporate Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Planning and Business Development
Continuous review of the corporate operations business model for areas of development, processes, business cycles and systems.
Manage the relation between the corporate operations team and the corporate sales team for smoother business flow and more premium writing.
Explore areas of product development with the corporate sales team for more market penetration
Communicate with different departments within Life operations for more smooth processing of corporate business
Communicate top management direction and feedback regarding corporate business to team members
Translate top management direction into operational action points to be undertaken by the team
2.2 Monitoring the Corporate Operations Work flow
Review the operational work cycles on regular basis for improvements that reflect with better service to clients
Support the corporate supervisor in communication with different departments
Responsible for the performance of all the corporate portfolio
Respond to EFSA inquiries and facilitating their audit needs.
Monitor the filing; follow up systems, and IT systems in use.
Keep up to date with company’s standards, policies, procedures and authority limits that affect the implementation of responsibilities.
Maintain regular communication with key and strategic accounts and ensure their requests are met
2.3 Reporting and Internal Communication
Present consistent and regular performance reports to Life Operations Manager
Present consistent and regular business performance reports to Life Operations Manager
2.4 People Management, Self and Employee Development
Assess the training needs of subordinates to provide the necessary training and other performance development initiatives
Coaching and ensuring the motivation of the managed team members.
Ensure continuous self development to keep up to date with the knowledge needed for effective performance.
2.5 Other Responsibilities
Support the Life Operations Department in any other relevant task/ project.
Qualifications:
University degree. (Actuarial science preferable)
At least 7 years of experience in the insurance industry
At least 2 years of experience in corporate operations management.
Ability to communicate efficiently with high customer service orientation in dealing with internal and external clients if any.
High customer service orientation.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, administrative and follow up skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Proficient user of MS office.
Fluent written & spoken English and Arabic
